So what have we been doing for the last couple of days. Let's see. Swimming, relaxing, reading, playing interspersed by a few meals.
Elise seems to have charmed the pants of most of the waiter here, who (naturally) all think she's adorable. There has been much playing around with Bigwoof and Radar, her two dogs when we go to eat. Elise has also discovered that she likes Octopus, fried.
Speaking of fish. The fish that we can see from the jetty here are amazingly colored as the oral reefs start just a few meters from the beach. We have seen fish in pretty much all the colors of the rainbow. Yesterday we were lucky enough to see a Lion fish lazily swimming just in front of our feet while out on the jetty.
Still on the subject of fish, i think Elise is turning in to one. Since she in three days has learn how to swim. I must say I was much impressed how quickly that went. So we've been happily swimming all round the pool, jumping off the side without dad catching and even diving under water. She has also gleefully discovered that she can run away from parents who want her to get out of the pool before she turns completely blue by leaping back in and swimming off, the little rascal. I find myself rather torn in those situations between saying "come on it's time to get out", and thinking "good for you". I'm glad she has a good sense of humor.
Later today we're going out in a glass bottomed boat t look at fish and coralls etc. That should bee god fun. I'll report later on what it was like. I'll have to see if I can post some pics.
